The Second Stakeholder Workshop on DrukDIF, a Dynamic Information Framework for the Natural Resources of Bhutan, was organized in Thimphu on October 21st. Chaired by the Director of the Department of Agriculture the Workshop focused on the progress made in the development of the DrukDIF. Presentations were made by Professor Jeff Richey of the University of Washington, Seattle, USA,and Dr, Andy Gillion, of the Centre for Biodiversity Management, Australia. The afternoon session focused on questions and issues of the various stakeholders and a discussion on the priorities for the further development of the DIF for Bhutan.
